Seriously, it’s about time someone said what Cap says.
Again, Greg Rucka’s take on the Punisher is amazing.
The Stay Angry arc of Incredible Hulk is basically “Crazy Sci-fi Comic Book Crank” and it’s GLORIOUS.
The Punisher putting the moves on Elektra
I don’y like it when Frank does that sort of thing.

For Those of you who thought Space Punisher is a ridiculous idea, you all need to face the corner of shame because Space Punisher is the craziest, no holds bar, ride into the danger zone, alternate reality, orgasm you don’t deserve.
completely bonkers stuff
Needed more crazy and less Pony Tail.
Superman and the Mole Men (1951)

It is the first theatrical feature film based on the DC Comics character Superman, although two live-action Superman films had already been shown in cinemas, they appeared in a serial format. The film was produced by Barney Sarecky and directed by Lee Sholem with the original screenplay by Richard Fielding (a pseudonym for Robert Maxwell and Whitney Ellsworth)
AC: watched the whole thing and didn’t see Superman once.
Captain America (1990)
Rating: 2.9/10
Captain America is a 1990 superhero film directed by Albert Pyun. The film is based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. While the film takes several liberties with the comic’s storyline, it features Steve Rogers becoming Captain America during World War II to battle the Red Skull, being frozen in ice, and subsequently being revived to save the President of the United States from a crime family that dislikes his environmentalist polices.
AC: It’s only bad because it looks like they really tried.
The Punisher (1989)
Rating: 5.3/10
The Punisher is a 1989 film starring Dolph Lundgren as Frank Castle, directed by Mark Goldblatt from a screenplay by Boaz Yakin. It is loosely based on the Marvel Comics’ character The Punisher. The film changes many details of the comic book origin and the main character does not wear the trademark “skull”.
AC: To be honest this is barely a comic book movie.
Supergirl (1984)
Rating: 4.1/10
Supergirl is a 1984 superhero film directed by Jeannot Szwarc, and stars Helen Slater in her first motion picture role in the title role of the DC Comics superheroine Supergirl. Faye Dunaway (who received top billing) played the primary villain, Selena. The film was a spin-off from the Salkinds’ Superman film series which starred Christopher Reeve. The movie also featured Marc McClure reprising his role as Jimmy Olsen from the Superman films.
AC: These days pornos have better production values and acting.
Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again (1990)
Rating: 5.6/10
Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again (released on video as Archie: Return to Riverdale) was a live-action television movie based on comic book characters published by Archie Comics. It was produced by DiC and premiered on NBC Sunday Night at the Movies in 1990. The concept behind the movie was to combine the long-standing familiarity of Archie and the gang from the comics with adult issues.
AC: Imagine a “where are they now” type movie with the Archie characters.
Fantastic 4 (1994)
Rating: 3.8/10
The Fantastic Four is an unreleased low-budget feature film completed in 1994. Created to secure copyright to the property, the producers never intended it for release, although the director, actors, and other participants were not informed of this fact. It was produced by low-budget specialist Roger Corman and Bernd Eichinger (who also produced another Fantastic Four movie in 2005).
AC: Just pretend this is a fan film and you won’t be disappointed.
Shit, I actually saw that Captain America movie as a kid, but I had thought I just imagined it.
Fucking parkour.
Why didn’t people love Punisher War Zone? It was so much better at conveying the Ennis run on (regular) Punisher.
