Let me get this straight: These girls deserve to be lied to and tricked into shaving all their hair

All because

They like Justin Bieber

They’re just fans. They’re probably just younger girls. And you lied to them. 

All because of something as silly as liking

You know what I’m pissed off about

How these girls will cut off their hair for Justin Bieber but not for a person actually diagnosed with cancer. 

First: celebrities aren’t people, I guess?

I’m sort of pissed off that they’re making cancer into a joke. Something that hurts families and plagues people for the rest of their lives.  You never beat cancer, you just get rid of it, knowing that there’s a small part of you that thinks its going to come back, and the scary part is that it might.

Cancer is something that took my aunt’s life in January.  My family is really close, and I was really close to her, my little sister even more since my aunt helped her with her dyslexia.  She was bald because of the therapy, and the last time I saw her was the previous summer.  She was doing really well then; they thought she was going to pull through.  Unfortunately, last October, she wasn’t doing so well.  Then they learned that she had hundred of tumors in her liver and it was too late.

As a person who recently lost a family member to this horrible disease, I’m touched that the girls were willing to shave their head for a person they admire.  And I’m pissed off that no one is angry at 4chan.  Liking Justin Bieber isn’t a crime.  You can like whoever you want or the things they provide.  No one should judge you for it.

Getting back to the point, this is disgusting.  Cancer is not funny.  It will never be funny.  And now I’m going to cry myself to sleep because I have to think of the horrible and painful way my aunt died and how I never got to say goodbye to her.

So thanks for that.

I’d love it if Justin Bieber takes this and makes it a positive, and shaves his head and donates to cancer funds and tries to raise awareness about checking for cancer.

It would also serve as a great “fuck you” to the haters.
