So AvX was a total pile of horseshit.
At the end of it Cap is all on Cyclops for being a dick while The Phoenix, while the fact of the mater is.. he DIDN’T CHOOSE TO BE THE PHOENIX! They said from the start no one could handle it, except Cyclops felt that Hope could.
So know what? Cyclops was totally right from the start and everything bad that happened was because Captain America and the Avengers were pushy assholes. Stark split the Phoenix to prevent it from getting into Hope. Hope who was on the run because the Avengers would rather kill her.
Yeah, the ending was making more mutants which is what Cyclops wanted and Hope felt she could do, and thus burning out the Phoenix.
The bullshit done to twist things so the Avengers are the heroes is shitty.
But I was wrong about Cyclops dying.
