The comic was eye-rollingly bad, but Gary Frank gave us a few great panels of kids being kids, even if one of the kids is a grown man with a weird ass costume on.  Like, he motions like a kid, not a grown up.

I think the whole “new, exciting direction” for Captain Marvel Shazam is pretty terrible.  The whole part where he is generally a total asshole to everyone until they prove themselves worth caring about, the whole MAGIC! nonsense and the scene where an ancient wizard learns a life lesson that “nobody is perfect” from a brat in under a page.. pretty shitty.

Now if only people would quit buying the book and Geoff would get back to writing good stuff again.
